Job Title: Valuation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Valuation Specialist to join our team at Pathfind. As a Valuation Specialist, you will be responsible for providing business valuation and transaction advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare business valuations, due diligence assignments, and financial analysis for transactions, reorganizations, disputes, and tax filings.
  • Consult with clients, their counsel, and representatives of companies to understand their financial and non-financial information.
  • Analyze and interpret clients' financial data to identify risks and opportunities that drive value.
  • Conduct industry research and analysis to provide objective recommendations to clients.
  • Represent clients at networking and industry events to leverage new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • CPA designation
  • CBV designation or enrolled and working towards CBV
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive professional accounting experience at a public practice firm
  • Experience in preparing business valuation reports, due diligence, purchase price allocations, and financial models.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal documents in a financial environment.
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams.
