Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Petro Canada A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that the team is working efficiently.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Inventory and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that the team is aware of inventory levels and making adjustments as needed.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback, providing recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Working Conditions

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and working a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a noisy and hot environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
