Assistant Professor of Networking and IT Security

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Teaching Professor to join our Faculty of Business and Information Technology at Ontario Tech University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing courses in Networking and IT Security, as well as contributing to the growth and development of our programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach and develop courses in Networking and IT Security
- Contribute to the growth and development of our programs
- Supervise teaching assistants and participate in departmental service
- Engage in research and outreach activities, including industry-based capstone projects
- University degree in Networking and IT Systems or a related field
- Industry networking certifications or a graduate degree in a related field
- Experience with at least three of the following: Networking, Software Defined Networking, System and Network Administration, Computer Architecture, Secure Software Systems, Cryptography and Secure Communications, Access Control, IT Forensics, Sustainable/Green Networking, and DevOps
- Relevant industry experience, teaching experience, and/or experience in Online and Hybrid course delivery
