A successful Sales Specialist will be responsible for growing sales and market share of our robot product and automation offer in Eastern Canada general industry market. Key responsibilities include developing sales strategies for territory and key accounts, managing existing accounts, and identifying and developing relationships with prospective accounts and their decision makers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the assigned territory and industry segments, as well as a solid understanding of customers' processes and needs in various industry segments such as automotive and the emerging electrical vehicle supply chain, metal fabrication, plastics, construction and education. The Sales Specialist will also be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets, demonstrating technical expertise and product knowledge, and closing collaboration with a team of highly experienced sales professionals and strong application specialists.

Requirements
  • A degree in either a technical or commercial discipline;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an account manager with a strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical products selling to both end users and system integrators;
  • Experience of robot automation and motion control and their application in the Canadian manufacturing industry is a definite asset;
  • Creative thinker with commercial focus, good technical understanding and results orientation.
