Join Our Team as an Accounting Student

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Student to join our Inventory and Costing team at Inter Pipeline. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working closely with our costing team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of cost of sales and inventory financial information
  • Work with the costing team to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations and provide recommendations for resolving discrepancies
  • Assist in the development of standard costs in our SAP ERP system
  • Contribute to the analysis of product costs and variances associated with purchased and manufactured goods
  • Support the development of more efficient and accurate manufacturing reporting
  • Collaborate with other business units to ensure accurate accounting of feedstock intercompany transactions
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary student with a strong foundation in business, finance, or accounting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
