Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at PK Paradise Inc. as a key member of our culinary department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing and implementing effective operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of our food service operations. This will include developing and maintaining work schedules, coordinating staff activities, and ensuring that all food preparation and service meet our quality control standards.

Supervise and Train Staff

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and training a team of food service staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance. This will involve providing guidance and support to staff members, as well as identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Manage Inventory and Budgets

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage. They will also be responsible for preparing and submitting reports on food costs, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators.

Ensure Quality and Safety Standards

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all food preparation and service meet our high standards of quality and safety. This will involve conducting regular quality control checks, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements
  • Education

A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years is required.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role is required.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
