We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Planner to drive long-term growth and competitive advantage for our Canada Business Unit (BU).

This role is a Contract Position with a duration of months, starting in November.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies to ensure sustained growth and competitive advantage.
  • Lead the strategic direction for the annual business plan and ensure its implementation across the organization.
  • Provide insights to enhance commercial execution in the market.
  • Define and coordinate the annual Business Planning (BP) process.
  • Develop and present the annual business plan to North America management.
  • Identify and manage M&A and new business opportunities.
  • Develop business cases to evaluate opportunities and risks.
  • Perform competitive and industry analysis to inform strategic adjustments.
  • Design and implement senior management routines to enhance effectiveness.
  • Develop key presentations and documents for Canada business review.
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to product launches and initiatives.
  • Manage research budget for productivity goals.
Requirements
  • 10-12 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, business consulting, and FMCG/retail organizations.
  • M&A experience is valuable.
  • Fluency in English and French is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills, including multivariable analysis.
  • Knowledge of M&A processes and competitive intelligence.
