Job Title: Printing Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our team at Labels Master Printing and Packaging Inc.

Job Summary

The Printing Press Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining our flexographic and offset presses, ensuring high-quality prints and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain flexographic and offset presses to produce high-quality prints
  • Advise press crew on product specifications and material requirements
  • Prepare production schedules and review job orders to determine production time and quantities required
  • Fill ink fountains and control colour and viscosity
  • Plan production methods and estimate costs
  • Monitor regular press run for quality using computer control console
  • Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run
  • Direct press crew to set up, operate and shut down press
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a commercial or in-house printing environment
  • Permanent position, 30 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
