About the Role

ChampionX is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our customers in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet defined territory profit increase goals.
  • Work closely with current and new customers to understand their business needs and recommend solutions to maintain and grow sales.
  • Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving issues, and escalating as required.
  • Engage in problem-solving by analyzing data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
  • Actively sell and support ChampionX innovations and technology to promote long-term business relationships.
  • Travel within assigned sales territory to meet with customers and partners.
Requirements
  • 3 or more years of technical sales or field sales support experience.
  • High computer application literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Prior experience demonstrating a strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Previous Petrochemical experience.
  • Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of water treatment systems.
  • History of working in a field requiring autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Prior experience requiring excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Account leadership experience, including calling on multilevel plant or facilities management to accomplish company goals.
