Job Summary:

Action Restaurant Equipment Services is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our clients in the commercial kitchen equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer service calls and provide prompt, professional service.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment, including refrigeration units.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure safe operation and identify potential issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized service vehicle and ensure all necessary tools and equipment are on hand.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in field service, preferably in commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Gas fitter 2 certification an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, with demonstrated diagnostic ability.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CFESA training or willingness to attend local or out-of-town factory training.
