Job Title: Technical Lead

Electronic Arts is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of software tools, tests, and services that empower development teams and Quality Assurance to protect the quality of shipped titles.

Responsibilities:
  • Tooling and Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain sustainable software tools, tests, and services that meet the needs of our development teams and Quality Assurance.
  • Technology Selection and Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select and implement the most appropriate technologies to maximize overall business benefits.
  • Automated Testing Solutions: Design, author, test, and deploy automated tests that cover multiple test scenarios and interpret requests from QA and engineering partners.
  • Process Improvement and Automation: Lead a team of engineers to develop automation frameworks, tools, engine components, and processes used across studios.
  • Roadmap Definition and Implementation: Collaborate with customers to define and execute the team's roadmap, delivering required technology, methods, and processes to support opportunities across EA studios worldwide.
  • Problem-Solving and Efficiency Enhancement: Address roadblocks and inefficiencies, proposing and applying creative or technical solutions to improve workflows and processes.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in C++, C#, or similar languages.
  • Proven experience in quality verification tools, test automation, and large-scale system design.
  • Experience leading technical/software teams.
  • Solid foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, algorithms, design patterns, test-driven development, CI/CD processes, and data structures.
  • Experience in testing within Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Previous experience in gaming or other performance-sensitive industries.
