Job Title: Executive Chef

Himalaya Indian Cuisine LTD. is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and organized Executive Chef to oversee the preparation and presentation of our menu items. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement menus, ensuring high-quality dishes and efficient food preparation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent food presentation and service.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Order supplies and equipment, managing inventory and records to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Recruit and hire staff, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
  • Organize buffets and banquets, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to train staff and maintain a motivated team.
