As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and completing a range of office duties, including billing and customer service, in support of all terminal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Process and complete accurate and timely billing of shipping documents
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, reception, tracing, and customer service
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person
  • Enter information about completed deliveries into the computer system
  • Scan documents to be saved in the imaging system
  • Generate and produce reports on on-time performance for key customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals of the terminal
  • Work safely and comply with all Gardewine safe work practices, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a secondary education in a related field and previous transportation experience. Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Able to work with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and possess strong computerized data entry skills. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
