Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the credit union's information security program, including cyber security, internet, software updates, and incident responses.
  • Partner with functional leaders to understand and translate their needs into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize technology initiatives to enhance business performance.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Information Technology Strategy and an Annual Plan to achieve defined business goals and future requirements.
  • Direct and coach the Technical Support Analyst.
  • Support and contribute to the digital transformation journey.
  • Maintain and implement approved policies and procedures, and practices for technology operations with all stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology/management, computer science or related discipline.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of progressive IT experience in a Credit Union or other Financial Services environment.
  • Minimum two (2) years of people management experience with strong leadership skills and ability to develop and maintain a high level of employee engagement.
  • Proven experience in managing third-party IT services and vendor relationships.
  • Thorough understanding of Information Systems and Technology practices and procedures.
  • Strong integrity and professionalism with ability to maintain confidentiality, manage highly sensitive information and exercise sound judgment in problem resolution.
Work Environment:

Professional, team-oriented office environment. Standard corporate hours; The physical demands are those that must be met by being able to successfully perform the essential functions of the role such as sitting, standing, talking, regular use of computer and phone, driving.
