Employment Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)

Compensation: Competitive base salary, performance bonuses, and comprehensive medical and dental benefits.

The Insurance Sales Associate plays a vital role in enhancing the agency's operations through the effective sales and servicing of personal insurance products, including auto and home coverage. This position may also involve providing basic support for other product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales, service, and profitable growth of personal insurance products.
  • Advise clients on coverages and policies tailored to their specific needs.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional products and services that enhance client value.
  • Conduct front-line risk assessments and selections in line with underwriting protocols.
  • Determine which risks necessitate inspections and re-inspections.
  • Meet individual objectives related to client service, sales, quality, and productivity.
  • Support initiatives aimed at fostering multi-client relationships.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns, effectively resolving complaints and escalating issues as necessary.

This role involves direct interaction with clients and/or service providers in their respective environments. A commitment to continuous improvement and the cultivation of productive client relationships is essential to exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player, providing guidance to foster the development of colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • A General Insurance License is required or must be obtained within two months.
  • Compliance with all provincial licensing requirements and continuing education to maintain licenses.
  • Preferred: One year of sales and service experience or related business experience.
  • Knowledge of auto and property insurance products, along with experience in sales techniques, is advantageous.
  • LLQP - Life License is considered a significant asset.
