Job Title: Tilesetters Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tilesetters Supervisor to join our team at 8725535 Canada Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of tile and other materials on various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of tilesetters and other construction personnel
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee the training and development of apprentices and junior staff
  • Recruit and hire new staff as needed
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Recommend personnel actions and participate in performance management
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and achieving project goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
