Job Title: Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at 8725535 Canada Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including bricklayers, cement finishers, tilesetters, and labourers.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including preparing production and other reports.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure all employees are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure all projects are properly budgeted.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Recommend personnel actions and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction supervision or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a noisy, dusty, and at-heights environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
