Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Friends Construction Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as directed by supervisors.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the guidance of experienced construction professionals.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to ensure smooth and even surfaces.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, such as cranes and excavators.
Work Environment

As a Construction Laborer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions, including outdoors and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy loads, as well as work at heights.
  • Availability to work 30 to 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
