Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Pet Care Specialist to assist with the daily care and well-being of our animals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch care, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring the overall health and happiness of our pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing and Grooming: Bathe and shampoo animals, ensuring their coats are clean and well-groomed.
  • Animal Monitoring: Document animal behavior, monitor their health, and report any concerns to management.
  • Food and Supply Management: Prepare and serve food and feed animals, as well as maintain and order supplies.
  • Cleaning and Disinfection: Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Weight Handling: Handle animals weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs) with care and attention.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a pet grooming shop and daycare setting, with a focus on providing exceptional care and attention to our animals.
