About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Care Specialist to join our team at CJSP Kinetic Pet Grooming and Supplies Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to our furry friends.

Responsibilities
  • Animal Care and Handling: Bathe and shampoo animals, document animal behavior, and monitor animal behavior to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Food and Nutrition: Prepare and serve food and feed animals according to their dietary needs.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Supply Management: Maintain and order supplies to ensure we have everything we need to provide top-notch care.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience in animal care or a related field is an asset.
  • Work Setting: This role requires working on-site at our pet grooming shop or daycare location.
Additional Information

This role involves lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and requires a high level of physical activity. We offer financial benefits, including gratuities, to our team members.
