Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team at Atlantic Packaging. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Conduct site investigations and field reviews to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Review and prepare detailed designs, including CAD drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Manage project finances, including tracking expenses and initiating billing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • P. Eng Designation in Ontario required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
