About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at DASS Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our Mechanical Systems department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and Optimize Mechanical Systems

Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and reliability of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Lead Project Development

Plan, manage, and execute projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Investigate and Resolve Mechanical Issues

Conduct thorough investigations into mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Develop and Maintain Maintenance Standards

Establish and maintain comprehensive maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime.

Supervise and Mentor Team Members

Lead and guide a team of technicians, technologists, and engineers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure successful project execution.

Assess Business Opportunities

Identify and evaluate business opportunities, developing strategies to capitalize on new markets and revenue streams.

Develop Risk Management Plans

Develop and implement risk management plans to mitigate potential threats and ensure business continuity.

Commission Systems and Components

Oversee the commissioning of mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience

At least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Conditions

Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
