Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team at Atlantic Packaging. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct site investigations and field reviews to ensure project compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Review and apply knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
  • Provide technical support for the development of standard systems to enhance paper machine reliability.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • P. Eng Designation in Ontario required.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Mechanical Engineering directly related to project engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Excel software.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and take initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
