Job Summary:

The Centre de recherche de l'Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont is seeking a highly skilled Genomics Research Associate to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will play a central role in conducting genomic studies aimed at understanding the molecular characterization of etiologies and consequences of clonal hematopoiesis in aging human individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct genomic studies and analyze whole exome (WES) and whole genome (WGS) data to identify novel genomic and bio-informatic technologies.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement precision medicine projects in hematology-oncology.
  • Contribute to the writing of scientific publications, grant reports, and student supervision.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in performing and analyzing genomic data.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve research goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Molecular Biology.
  • Post-DOC in Genomic/Bioinformatics or 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Expertise in performing and analyzing whole exome (WES) and whole genome (WGS) data.
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual English/French.
  • Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
