Position Overview:

High Tech Genesis is seeking a committed IT professional who enjoys hands-on technical tasks. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in managing IT systems and thrive in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Setting up and configuring routers and switches within a data center.
  2. Troubleshooting and executing scripts on networking devices.
  3. Handling the unpacking and repacking of equipment post-technical processes.
  4. Installing and configuring DELL and HP servers, as well as workstations.
  5. Setting up RAID configurations and deploying various Windows Server operating systems.
  6. Simultaneously managing multiple server setups.
  7. Understanding part number catalogs and performing label printing accordingly.
  8. Preparing servers for quality control checks.
  9. Conducting basic configurations that may require troubleshooting.
  10. Following a predefined checklist for repetitive tasks, ensuring systems are rack-ready and operational.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking principles.
  • Experience in configuring DELL and HP servers and workstations.
  • Familiarity with generating scripts via command line interface.
  • Experience in hard drive partitioning and RAID configurations.
  • Proficient in deploying both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently, including lifting and moving servers.
  • Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work independently.

Preferred Skills:

  • CCNA certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in assembly line work or integration according to documentation is a plus.
