Position Overview: Community Engagement Coordinator

In the role of Community Engagement Coordinator, you will report directly to the Community Manager and be tasked with a variety of administrative and leasing functions within the property. Your responsibilities will encompass managing resident interactions, implementing engagement initiatives, and organizing appreciation events.

Key Responsibilities

Leasing Operations

  • Oversee leasing and resident relations activities, tracking metrics related to occupancy, renewals, and transitions;
  • Engage in the complete leasing cycle, including property tours and conducting necessary background checks;
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the property, facilitate lease signings, and manage move-in procedures;
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to ensure the timely readiness of suites and conduct move-in inspections.

Marketing Initiatives

  • Perform market analysis, assess competitive positioning, and contribute to pricing strategies;
  • Build partnerships with local businesses to enhance resident experiences and attract visitors to the property.

Administrative Duties

  • Ensure the accurate completion and documentation of leasing paperwork;
  • Manage resident communications while upholding privacy standards;
  • Provide front desk assistance as needed and oversee office supplies management.

Office Management

  • Ensure adherence to property management protocols;
  • Deliver administrative support, maintain resident records, and manage office supplies efficiently;
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.

Financial Management

  • Oversee rent collection, manage outstanding payments, and handle documentation related to payment issues;
  • Assist in the collection of overdue rent and legal processes as required.

Maintenance Coordination

  • Facilitate move-in and move-out processes, inspect vacant units, and address maintenance concerns;
  • Educate residents on service request protocols and ensure satisfaction with maintenance services.

Health and Safety Compliance

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety drills;
  • Ensure that vendors comply with safety standards and report any violations promptly.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service;
  • Previous experience in administration and property management is preferred;
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and relationship-building abilities;
  • Proficiency in technology and familiarity with relevant software applications;
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and professional demeanor.
