About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Accountant to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our Capital Accounting Department, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in financial reporting, capital asset management, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Coordinate and manage the recording and tracking of capital asset acquisitions and disposals.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, GAAP, MIS Guidelines, and governmental requirements.
  • Develop and implement automation systems to increase efficiencies.
  • Provide input to the hiring, discipline, and termination of staff.
