Responsibilities
  • Provide education and support to individuals with developmental needs, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with individuals to develop and implement personalized plans, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Work closely with the household team to ensure seamless care and support, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of needs and goals.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
Work Setting
  • Private residence.
  • Permanent work term.
  • English language required.
  • 30-40 hours per week.
