Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Student Support Services team. As Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to a diverse team of consultants and staff, focusing on the development and implementation of programs for students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs and services that support students with diverse learning needs
  • Lead a team of consultants and staff to deliver high-quality services and programs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, community members, and First Nation communities to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of students
  • Ensure the incorporation of First Nations ways of knowing, being, and doing into program development and implementation
  • Manage and evaluate the creation and effective delivery of student services and programs
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Educational Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in developing, leading, and managing a diverse team of consultants and staff
  • Experience in strategic planning, organizational development, and change management
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with educators, parents, community members, First Nation communities, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge and incorporation of First Nations ways of knowing, being, and doing in programs and services
