We are seeking a skilled Retail Butcher to join our team at Walker Lake Meat Shop. As a Retail Butcher, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing meats for sale, cutting and trimming standard cuts of meat, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and prepare meats for sale, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Cut and trim standard cuts of meat to customer specifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations on meat products.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting sales targets and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail meat environment.
- Ability to work 35 hours per week, with flexibility to meet business needs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
- Client focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and reliability in meeting business needs.
