Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at 9393-2606 Québec Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality in our food and beverage offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Cost Management: Cost products and services to maintain profitability and ensure that our menu offerings are competitive.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment for our staff and customers.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure that our customers have a positive experience and return to our restaurant.
  • Event Management: Manage events and functions to ensure that they are executed smoothly and efficiently.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members to ensure that they are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Utilize MS Office to manage and maintain our restaurant's operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in French.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
