Position Overview

The Network System Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our networking infrastructure at Regency Plastics Company Ltd. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining and enhancing our network systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Management: Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and associated computer workstations and peripheral devices.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously assess the functionality and efficiency of computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Analyze and implement necessary computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • User Support: Provide expert problem-solving assistance to network users, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Network Operations: Conduct routine network startup and shutdown procedures while maintaining accurate control records.
  • Data Management: Execute data backup and disaster recovery processes to safeguard critical information.
  • Web Development: Modify and maintain web pages, applets, and scripts as required.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide technical staff to foster a productive work environment.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a relevant trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
