Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Plant Operator to join our team at Wilbur-Ellis. As a Chemical Plant Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our chemical plant, including the production of NPK liquid fertilizers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload raw materials and operate production equipment, such as pumps, blenders, and reactors, to produce high-quality NPK liquid fertilizers.
  • Monitor and control the production process to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Document and report production data, including inventory levels, production rates, and quality control metrics.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of experience in a chemical plant or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of chemical processing and production principles.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and safe work culture.
