About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our team at First Student in Ancaster, ON. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our school buses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
  • Conduct safety inspections and annual MTO maintenance inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist with mobile emergency services and provide support to other maintenance team members as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Holds a T license.
  • Possess a mechanic's tool set.
  • Willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
