Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare, providing high-quality nursing care to our residents in the Chatsworth-area.
Responsibilities
- To deliver exceptional nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
- To utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
- To ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientations to the home and its services.
- To ensure resident transfers and discharges are timely and safe.
- To maintain the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, adhering to protocols on all assigned shifts.
- To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a compassionate and supportive manner.
- Respect for each resident's individuality and right to self-respect and privacy.
- Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes influencing the operation of the Nursing Home and nursing department.
- Medical Clearance, including TB tests.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Clear Criminal Record check.
