Job Summary:
First Nations University of Canada is seeking qualified individuals to teach Indigenous languages, including Cree, Nakoda, Dakota, Dene, and Saulteaux. As a language instructor, you will play a vital role in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of First Nations communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Indigenous languages to students of all levels
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of First Nations students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to promote a culturally inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as linguistics, education, or Indigenous studies
