HR Support Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Support Specialist to join our team at Budds' Group of Companies. As an HR Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, including contract preparation, time clock enrollment, and new hire package completion.
- Manage time and attendance tracking and approval.
- Set up and track health and safety training.
- Enter journal entries into our data management system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee HR records.
- Track employee license renewals.
- Prepare and mail all HR documents.
- Assist with HR projects, including AODA, training, and policy updates.
Requirements:
We are looking for a positive and collaborative team member with strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A bachelor's or diploma in human resources or a related field is required. Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office is also necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent planning and prioritization skills to ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Organized and accountable.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position that requires working in the office five days a week.
