Cashier/Count Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cashier/Count to join our team at CB Canada. As a Cashier/Count, you will be responsible for managing cash and financial transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the accuracy and security of financial assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash and financial transactions, including counting, verifying, and reconciling cash and cash equivalents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patrons, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure the accuracy and security of financial assets, adhering to AGCO regulations and company policies.
  • Organize and secure storage of count carts, drop boxes, and other financial assets.
  • Report any suspect cash or cash equivalents to management.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to provide support and assistance with financial transactions.

Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more years of experience in customer service and cash handling.
  • Strong knowledge of cash, foreign currency, and other settlement types.
  • Excellent communication, multi-tasking, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding area and in a confined space.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to obtain registration as a category 2 Gaming Assistant with the AGCO.
