Job Title: Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Meridian Inn & Suites Ltd.

Job Summary

The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained. This includes supervising housekeeping staff, coordinating inspections, and maintaining financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
  • Coordinate inspection of assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards
  • Supervise staff to ensure they are meeting departmental policies and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Supervise maintenance and repair services to ensure prompt resolution of issues
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure staff are meeting expectations
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure cleanliness and efficiency
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure effective use of resources
  • Ensure compliance with local health and sanitation regulations
  • Respond to guest complaints in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of communication
  • 40 hours per week
