Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Meridian Inn & Suites Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of all areas of the hotel.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure that high standards of cleanliness and quality are maintained.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties to a high standard.
  • Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and comply with safety standards and departmental policies.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports related to housekeeping operations.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair services to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals of housekeeping staff to ensure that they are meeting their performance goals and objectives.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that housekeeping staff have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
  • Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure that all laundry is processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out and that all housekeeping staff are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role.
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
