Tax Director

Kassen is seeking a seasoned Tax Director to lead its domestic and international tax operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future while managing complex tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance for domestic and international operations, including financial reporting and tax return preparation.
- Coordinate Tax Audits: Manage interactions with tax authorities and ensure seamless audit processes.
- Analyze Tax Implications: Analyze and manage the tax implications of foreign investments and transactions.
- Develop Tax Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate tax risks and ensure compliance.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure Kassen's operations remain compliant.
- Advise on Tax-Efficient Structuring: Advise on tax-efficient structuring of transactions and investments.
- Monitor Tax Policy Changes: Monitor and analyze the impact of tax policy changes on Kassen's operations.
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in Canadian tax, with a focus on international tax.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-tax professionals.
- Team Management: Proven experience in managing teams and interacting with auditors.
- Adaptability: Self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Tax-Related Software: Experience with tax-related software and systems.
- Accounting Principles: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
