Key Responsibilities- Workforce Planning
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop strategic plans and annual objectives
- Translate business needs into short-term, medium-term, and long-term workforce plans
- Design and implement recruitment strategies for key roles
- Talent Attraction and Acquisition
- Evaluate recruitment needs and develop competency-based interviewing frameworks
- Schedule and conduct interviews, negotiate offers, and onboard new hires
- Employee Development and Engagement
- Analyze talent evaluation and performance reviews to identify high potentials and areas for development
- Support managers through performance management and talent evaluation cycles
- Develop individual development plans and performance improvement plans
- Employee Relations and Retention
- Support employee committees and develop action plans to enhance employee engagement
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of action items
- Change Management and Governance
- Anticipate business challenges and adapt HR delivery to support change initiatives
- Ensure compliance with legislated and contractual obligations
- Present HR metrics and trends to senior leaders
- A degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field, with a Human Resources designation preferred
- At least 7 years of relevant HR experience, with 5 years in an HR Generalist capacity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Proven experience working in structured and unstructured organizations, with a strong results orientation
- Knowledge of labor relations, employment standards, and human rights legislation
- Ability to travel, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
