About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck and Trailer Repair Assistant to join our team at SANDHER TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR LTD. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our tradespersons and apprentices in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons and apprentices with the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment, including trucks and trailers.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help with the movement of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Clean machines and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a noisy and dusty environment.
  • Physically demanding role requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
Working Conditions
  • 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
  • Anglais is the primary language of communication.
