CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Analyst/Officer to join our team in Toronto, ON.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and oversight on regulatory requirements and controls, as well as supporting the development and maintenance of our internal Compliance program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on regulatory compliance and conduct risk matters
  • Develop and maintain compliance programs, including training and monitoring activities
  • Assess emerging regulatory or industry risks and recommend policy and/or action to the business
  • Support the implementation and sustainment of an effective first line oversight program within the business
  • Detect and mitigate violations of regulatory or internal policy requirements
  • Report on existing and emerging regulatory compliance issues and risks to Compliance senior management, business senior management, and regulators as required

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience in regulatory compliance, legal, or risk management
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide thought leadership in supporting positive work environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Canadian Banking products, policies, and processes
