Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at 3FAB Metal Manufacturing Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal parts, operating metalworking machines, and ensuring high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal
  • Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Cut materials using power tools or by hand
  • Fit and join sheet metal parts
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • Permanent work term
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience or equivalent
Work Environment

The work site environment is noisy and dusty.

Work Setting

The work setting is a shop fabrication environment.
