- **State-of-the-Art Facilities:** The clinic is located in the Halifax Shopping Centre and features modern facilities with large windows and new equipment.
- **Competitive Compensation:** Payment for this opportunity is 50% LFM (for attached patients) and 50% sessional hourly (for unattached patients).
**Responsibilities:**
**Clinical Responsibilities:**- Examine patients and take their histories, order diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures; advise patients on healthcare, health promotion, and disease prevention.
- Consultation and referral to other medical practitioners.
- Act as a patient advocate.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculations, and vaccinations.
- Report births, deaths, contagious, and other diseases as per Nova Scotia Public Health requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
**Requirements:**
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
