Responsibilities- Examine patients, take medical histories, order diagnostic tests, and advise patients on healthcare and disease prevention.
- Consult with other medical practitioners and refer patients as necessary.
- Act as a patient advocate and provide support throughout the care process.
- Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations.
- Report contagious diseases and other health concerns to public health authorities.
Full-time, 1.0FTE position available.
Qualifications- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.
- Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
- Member of the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
