Job Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of the store team, responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store. This role requires a strong focus on Guest Services, staff development, and controlling expenses and shrinkage. The ideal candidate will have prior retail and management experience, with a proven track record of driving sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Store Manager in developing and implementing store strategies to drive sales and profitability
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and management
• Control expenses and shrinkage, ensuring maximum profitability
• Maintain a high level of Guest Services, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and goals

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older
• Prior retail and management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
• Physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds
