About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 2543648 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and ensure all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure all products are displayed attractively.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Verify Customer Age: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products, and ensure all sales are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
