About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Laborer to join our team at Golden Gate Mayfield Limited. As a Farm Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our farm, from planting and cultivating crops to harvesting and preparing them for market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant, Cultivate, and Irrigate Crops: Plant seeds, tend to crops, and ensure they receive adequate water and nutrients.
  • Harvest and Prepare Crops: Harvest crops at the right time, clean and sort them, and prepare them for market.
  • Apply Fertilizers and Pesticides: Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed to promote healthy crop growth and prevent pests and diseases.
  • Load and Unload Crops: Load and unload crops from trucks, crates, and other containers.
  • Maintain Farm Equipment: Maintain and repair farm equipment, including tractors, plows, and other machinery.
  • Work in a Team Environment: Collaborate with other farm workers to achieve common goals and ensure the smooth operation of the farm.
Requirements
  • Physical Ability: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects.
